April is a hairstylist and colorist with over 7 years behind the chair. She studied and graduated from Douglas J Aveda Institute. Her education didn't end there. She has continued to expand her knowledge of the industry by attending classes and hair shows to learn from the industry’s best and top leaders. Always keeping up with the new techniques and trends. Her experience through the years and her attention to detail make her the stylist she is, who takes pride in her work and makes sure her clients walk out of the salon totally satisfied with their hair.

Whether it be with a fun, bold new color, a new haircut, or longer fuller hair with extensions. She believes that her clients are making an investment in their hair by walking into the salon. So, educating her clients on products and maintenance for their hair care needs from the chair to their home is essential.
April specializes in Redken color, highlights, balayage, and Bellami hair extensions. She also is well-versed in lash lifts and tints. You’ll often catch April doing lots of bridal hair and makeup, for in-salon bridal parties as well as offsite events.
When she’s not behind the chair, April loves to craft and participates in local craft and art events. Her two teenage boys keep her on her toes as they grow into men. She is Bliss’s in-house graphic designer and plays a large part in their marketing team. During the warmer seasons of the year, she spends downtime at their favorite spot, the beaches of Lake Michigan.
